The Petty Thieves
Reed Foehl and Putnam Murdock have created this duo by formalizing their lifelong musical friendship. Established by their parents bluegrass band forty years ago, the duo has been playing and writing together for fifteen years. Their first collaboration was placed in the feature film Just Friends, and since then their songs have been placed in television, movies, and commercials. Dusty and patient, their music is genuine Americana, telling stories of the human condition with lyric and harmonies that push the boundaries while paying homage to tradition.
