The Dedee Shattuck Gallery in Westport, MA is proud to announce our third annual Cultivating the Creative Spirit Outstanding High School Student Artist Prize and Exhibition.
The art departments of Dartmouth High School, Durfee High School, Fairhaven High School, Greater New Bedford Voc Tech, Old Rochester Regional High School, and Tiverton High School have nominated at least one senior with outstanding artistic aspirations and potential.
The Exhibition:
Our Dedee Shattuck Gallery panel will showcase one work from every student nominated. One of the students nominates will receive the art prize, awarded the night of the exhibition.
The exhibition reception will be held on
Thursday November 19th from 5-6:30pm and the show will run through Sunday November 22th.
Art Prize:
In addition to exhibiting the finalists’ work, one outstanding Junior will be awarded a $250 gift certificate to Riverside Art. This award is based on the demonstration of exceptional presentation, creativity, and technique.
