River Heart is a nationally recognized music and dramatic ensemble  whose members include Ed Merck, a historical wind player, 

and Alan O'Hare, a seanchie, or traditional Celtic storyteller. 

Their enchanting presentations recreate entertainment for the heart as it was offered in Medieval and Renaissance Europe. Thematic explorations revolve around the questions: who are we, and why are we here? Experience for yourself the magical tapestry of period music, poetry and interactive story telling.
